Sabrina Carpenter, Hozier, Doja Cat, Luke Combs, the Strokes, John Summit, Doechii, Feid and Cage the Elephant are the top-billed artists at the 2025 Austin City Limits festival. The nine-stage, two weekend celebration of music and community will take place October 3-5 and October 10-13 at the festival’s traditional location of Zilker Park.
Coldplay made history in India, when performing two nights at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Jan 25-26, selling 223,570 tickets. The concert followed three sold out shows at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium. The concerts were the largest stadium shows of the 21st century for any artist.
NKOTB announced that an anniversary reissue of Billboard 200-topping 1990 album Step By Step is arriving this summer, celebrating 35 years since the quintet’s fourth studio LP. Featuring bonus material, unreleased tracks and remixes, the revamped edition will arrive June 13, marking the album’s first time being available on vinyl since its original release. Originally released June 5, 1990, Step By Step debuted atop the Billboard 200, marking the band’s second No. 1 album. The news comes as the boy band is gearing up to take over Sin City with a residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM.
Kelsea Ballerini wrapped up her first-ever arena tour earlier this month with over 350,000 tickets sold. The trek – dubbed “Kelsea Ballerini Live On Tour” – boasted 25 sold out dates and concluded with a show at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, on April 13. “It’s been a very slow, steady build for 10 years,” Ballerina told Pollstar. “And I truly didn’t skip any steps. I opened in clubs and then theaters and then amphitheaters and then arenas."
ROSÉ is meeting Coldplay at the “APT.” At the rock band’s concert in Seoul, South Korea, the BLACKPINK star made a surprise guest appearance to perform her smash hit single for thousands of fans at Goyang Stadium. The performance marked the fourth of six nights at Goyang for Coldplay. K-Pop superstars TWICE are opening for the band during its stint in South Korea, and the two acts joined forces on stage on opening night April 16 to perform a revamped version of “We Pray.” Shortly after the show, they released an official version of the collaboration on streaming services.
The Cure will revisit their 2024 album Songs of a Lost World on an upcoming remix collection entitled Mixes of a Lost World. The 24-track compilation will feature fresh spins on the songs from EDM stars Four Tet, Paul Oakenfold and Orbital and others. The album conceived and compiled by Cure singer Robert Smith will be released on June 13th and will also come in a deluxe edition with additional remixes and reworks from Deftones frontman Chino Moreno, as well as Mogwai, 65daysofstatic, Gregor Tresher, Sally C, Daybreakers, Daniel Avery, meera and Trentemøller.
Lana Del Rey fans have received a fresh taste of her new era, with “Bluebird” arriving as the latest preview of her forthcoming record. Dropping just a week after “Henry, Come On” gave fans their first insight of what to expect from Del Rey’s country record, “Bluebird” has ostensibly further confirmed that her sonic shift won’t be one steeped in the standard trappings of a country record. Much like its predecessor, “Bluebird” is another soaring piece of emotional introspection from Del Rey, as she pairs softly-plucked acoustic guitars with stirring strings and her trademark reverb-laden vocals.
BTS‘ Jin announced the dates for his first-ever solo tour, the #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR. The outing will hit nine cities around the globe for two nights each, kicking off in Goyang, South Korea on June 28 and 29, before moving on to Chiba, Japan. After a stop in Osaka, Japan, the tour will jump to the U.S. for shows in California, Texas, Florida and New Jersey before winding down in London and Amsterdam in August. The tour reveal comes just two days after Jin announced the release date for his second solo album, Echo, which is due out on May 16.
Miley Cyrus‘ anticipated visual album, Something Beautiful, will get its world premiere at the 2025 Tribeca Festival. The wide-ranging event that will take place in New York from June 4-15 will feature the first look at the film co-directed and co-written by Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, Brendan Walter and produced by Tribeca alum Panos Cosmatos (Beyond the Black Rainbow). The “one-of-a-kind pop opera” features 13 original songs from Cyrus’ upcoming album of the same name.
